Inlet & Exhaust Valves generally close the combustion chamber and manage the air flow & combustion gases flow during combustion cycle.
Valves are highly strained components by thermally and mechanically which are additionally subject to corrosive influences.
During working condition Inlet valves temperatures go up to 300 °C to 550 °C approx where outlet valves temperature go up to 1,000 °C.
